Appointed is an AI-powered recruitment service for international teachers. We match teachers with international school roles based on their CV, professional profile, and stated preferences. References to “Appointed”, “we”, or “us” throughout this notice refer to the Appointed service.

We analyse your interview responses to understand your communication style — specifically your locus of control, action orientation, career anchors, and preferred communication persona (e.g. collaborative, authoritative). This analysis is essential to our service: it informs the tone, phrasing, and emphasis in your generated cover letters and CV rewrites, making them sound genuinely like you rather than generic AI output.
What is retained: The structured behavioural profile (a set of scores and labels — not your interview transcript verbatim). Your raw interview transcript is deleted from our systems within 7 days of interview completion.
What is never retained: Claude AI never sees your real name or email address during cover letter or CV generation. We strip identifying information before sending content to the AI and reinsert it afterwards.

We use the following third-party services to deliver Appointed. Each processes personal data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
